Rotated Pixels (weapons, catchable objects)



I searched the TIGSource forum but I have not found what I was looking:
Why weapons and other catchable objects are pixel rotated in hands ?
Why not making them pixel axed (Framebuffer and averages can do the work) ?
On old screens (with big pixels), this is impossible, Is this have been thought ?

(Sorry for my English, I’m French… :confused:)


Long story short, it’s a design decision not a technical one :slight_smile:
